The Sarah Fox UK Gambling Commission appointment brings an experienced gambling policy official into a key leadership role. <strong>She will oversee policy, research, statistics and National Lottery regulation.</strong></p>
<ul data-start="536" data-end="1463">
<li data-section-id="1689ms1" data-start="536" data-end="874"><strong>Fox led the Gambling and Lotteries team at DCMS for the past four years</strong>. She worked on the Gambling Act white paper, the fourth National Lottery licence and policy covering society lotteries and horse racing. The Sarah Fox UK Gambling Commission appointment comes as the regulator completes the final stages of the white paper reforms.</li>
<li data-section-id="1fl51sj" data-start="876" data-end="1145"><strong>Acting Chief Executive Sarah Gardner said Fox&#8217;s experience across gambling and lotteries would be valuable for the Commission&#8217;s strategy</strong>. She said Fox would help assess the impact of recent reforms while protecting National Lottery players and returns to Good Causes.</li>
<li data-section-id="huk20a" data-start="1147" data-end="1463"><strong>Fox has more than 23 years of Civil Service experience across several government departments</strong>. She said she was &#8220;really excited&#8221; to join the Commission and help make gambling &#8220;safer, fairer and crime free.&#8221;</li>

He joins as the company enters a new stage following its combination with Tipico Group and the planned acquisition of JOA. <strong>The enlarged group now operates Betclic, Tipico and Admiral across six regulated European markets and serves nearly 6.5 million active players each year.</strong></p>
<ul data-start="632" data-end="1843">
<li data-section-id="e6e5bc" data-start="632" data-end="952"><strong>Jouteau will be responsible for the group&#8217;s long-term strategy and future growth.</strong> His role includes expanding the business in existing regulated markets, increasing market share and identifying acquisition opportunities. <strong>Nicolas Béraud will continue as Non-Executive Chairman, while Joachim Baca remains Vice-Chairman.</strong></li>
<li data-section-id="1wxs1ja" data-start="954" data-end="1276"><strong>Jouteau</strong> <strong>brings more than 20 years of experience in digital and technology businesses</strong>. Jouteau previously held senior roles at PagesJaunes before joining Leboncoin in 2009, becoming CEO in 2015. He later led Adevinta, the owner of brands including Mobile.de, Leboncoin and Kleinanzeigen, before returning to Leboncoin in 2024.</li>
<li data-section-id="4gpj1f" data-start="1278" data-end="1843"><strong>Banijay Gaming said Jouteau&#8217;s experience in digital platforms, data and artificial intelligence will support the next phase of the business.</strong> His appointment combines technology expertise with the industry knowledge already within Betclic, Tipico and Admiral. <strong>The company said the aim is to continue building its position in regulated gaming markets across Europe</strong>. &#8220;His experience will be instrumental in building a leading global player in the industry.</li>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer" data-start="232" data-end="560"><strong>Simon Cox has been appointed as the new independent non-executive Chair of the <a href="https://www.britishhorseracing.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">British Horseracing Authority</a> (BHA)</strong>. He will take up the role on 1 October 2026 following an open recruitment process for an initial three-year term.</p>
<ul data-start="562" data-end="1903">
<li data-section-id="19xes0c" data-start="562" data-end="979"><strong>Cox has been involved in British racing for many years as an owner, breeder and industry representative.</strong> He serves on the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association board, chairs the BHA’s Jump Pattern Committee and owns four racehorses in training, while also operating Shade Oak Stud with 10 broodmares. <strong>Simon Cox BHA Chair combines this racing background with more than 30 years of international business leadership.</strong></li>
<li data-section-id="g7w1x0" data-start="981" data-end="1398"><strong>Before joining the BHA, Cox</strong> held senior executive positions at Molson Coors, where he became European president and CEO before taking responsibility for Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. He <strong>led a business with around GBP 2 billion (ca. EUR 2.3 billion) in annual turnover and 6,500 employees</strong>. “It is an honour to be appointed Chair of the British Horseracing Authority at such an important moment for racing and breeding,” Cox said.</li>
<li data-section-id="v48bde" data-start="1400" data-end="1903">Cox said his priorities include increasing participation, growing the customer base and strengthening the sport’s income streams. <strong>Before taking office, Simon Cox BHA Chair will resign from his current BHA and Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association roles.</strong></li>

Harris previously served as Chief Financial Officer and will now lead the company&#8217;s next phase of growth.</p>

<li data-section-id="tnt4nn" data-start="540" data-end="914"><strong>Richard Harris has been confirmed as CEO following an executive search led by Rank&#8217;s Nominations Committee with support from MWM Consulting</strong>. The process considered both internal and external candidates before the Board unanimously selected him. The Rank Group CEO joined the business as CFO in May 2022 after holding senior roles at Marks &amp; Spencer, Foxtons and Laird.</li>
<li data-section-id="6pidiz" data-start="916" data-end="1313"><strong>Harris has served as Interim CEO since 30 January 2026, leading the business while the recruitment process was completed</strong>. Rank said his performance during the past six months showed he was well placed to take on the role permanently. Chairman John H. Ott said the Board believes Harris is the right person to deliver the company&#8217;s medium-term target of at least GBP 100 million in operating profit.</li>
<li data-section-id="128tltp" data-start="1315" data-end="1643">Harris said he is proud of what the company has achieved during his time as CFO and wants to build on that momentum as CEO. He thanked Rank employees for their support over the past four years and said he looks forward to the future. <strong>The Rank Group CEO will now oversee the group&#8217;s long-term strategy and continued growth.</strong></li>

Before moving into iGaming, he also held senior finance roles at Nordea Bank and worked as an auditor at Ernst &amp; Young.</li>
<li data-section-id="1v974aw" data-start="923" data-end="1277">The Gentoo Media CFO appointment comes as the affiliate company continues its long-term growth strategy. Gentoo Media said Svalborn&#8217;s background in listed companies, capital markets and M&amp;A will strengthen its executive management team. <strong>CEO Jonas Warrer said: &#8220;Måns is a highly experienced CFO with a strong track record in the affiliate industry.&#8221;</strong></li>

The changes support the company&#8217;s expanding UK and international business. UK Tote Group has introduced dedicated leadership <strong>for both its consumer and B2B operations.</strong></p>
<ul data-start="514" data-end="1849">
<li data-section-id="1loq775" data-start="514" data-end="873"><strong>Eugene Delaney has joined as Chief Commercial Officer, B2B.</strong> He will lead the company&#8217;s B2B activities across the UK and international markets, working with racecourses, betting operators and international pool partners. Delaney brings more than 20 years of experience from senior roles at PA Media Group, Spotlight Sports Group, Racing Post and Paddy Power.</li>
<li data-section-id="184vxlz" data-start="875" data-end="1238"><strong>Paddy Desmond has been promoted from Chief Revenue Officer to Group Chief Operating Officer.</strong> He will oversee product, customer experience, marketing and revenue across the business. Before joining the Tote, he held senior positions at Paddy Power, Flutter Entertainment and the British Horseracing Authority, bringing experience in both betting and horseracing.</li>
<li data-section-id="m4kwh9" data-start="1240" data-end="1849"><strong>Alex Frost, Chief Executive Officer of UK Tote Group</strong>, said the appointments provide dedicated leadership across both sides of the business and support the company&#8217;s next phase of growth. Frost said: &#8220;Together they strengthen our leadership team and position us well for the next stage of the Tote&#8217;s growth.&#8221; <strong>UK Tote Group operates Britain&#8217;s largest pool betting business, employs around 200 people in Wigan and London, and works with racecourses and international partners to grow pool betting.</strong></li>

She will become part of the executive management team.</p>
<ul data-start="589" data-end="2126">
<li data-section-id="1uyh0g7" data-start="589" data-end="1014"><strong>Borstedt joins Svenska Spel from Munters FoodTech, where she was VP People &amp; Culture</strong>. She has built her career working with organisational development, leadership and HR transformation across companies in growth and transition. Her previous roles include Chief People &amp; Culture Officer at Proxify, Director of Growth at Northvolt, senior positions at Ahlstrom-Munksjö and Munksjö, and consulting work with PwC and Deloitte.</li>
<li data-section-id="1epl3pc" data-start="1016" data-end="1459"><strong>As Chief People &amp; Culture Officer, Borstedt will report directly to CEO Anna Johnson and take a seat on the executive management team.</strong> Johnson said Borstedt&#8217;s background in managing HR and organisational change will support Svenska Spel&#8217;s continued focus on sustainable growth, customer satisfaction and company culture. She added that the new executive will lead work to strengthen the organisation, leadership and internal ways of working.</li>
<li data-section-id="n5tk4l" data-start="1461" data-end="2126"> <strong>The Svenska Spel Chief People &amp; Culture role begins in September 2026,</strong> while interim executive Joakim Karlsson returns to his permanent position as Head of Talent Acquisition &amp; Tech.</li>
