Caesars Entertainment is expanding its partnership with three Wabanaki Nations in preparation for a Maine online casino launch. The long-term agreement covers the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the Mi’kmaq Nation and the Penobscot Nation. The launch remains subject to regulatory approval and is planned for 2026.

• The expanded agreement builds on the partnership that began with Caesars Sportsbook in Maine in 2023. Caesars plans to introduce Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino in the state. The Maine online casino offering will feature a shared login and digital wallet across its platforms.
• Caesars said it will invest in workforce development by employing, training and supporting members of the three tribal nations. The company will also provide financial support for tribal community programmes and initiatives. Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, said: “Together, we’ve built a strong and responsible sports wagering experience.”
• The Penobscot Nation, Mi’kmaq Nation and Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians said the expanded partnership is expected to strengthen long-term economic opportunities. Tribal leaders said online gaming revenue could help fund government services and infrastructure projects. The Maine online casino agreement also aims to support tribal self-determination and economic development.
