Games Global says slot franchises can still cut through when they are handled with care. Mark MacCombie, chief commercial officer at Games Global, said the Gold Blitz franchise reflects that approach. The aim is to keep familiar game elements in place while adding new features that support repeat play.
- MacCombie said the market is crowded, with new games launching every day. For Games Global, the focus is not only on visibility but on making titles memorable. He said franchises work best when they keep the parts players already know and build from there.
- The Gold Blitz franchise is being used as an example of that strategy. Gold Blitz Express is the fourth game in the core series and keeps the Cash Collect mechanic and audiovisual style. It also adds the new Express feature and a bonus round Accumulation Trail.
- Games Global said its franchise work is guided by player behaviour, operator feedback and studio input. The company uses this data to shape new releases without moving too far from the original game. “Success in this space comes from respecting the DNA of a title while having the courage to enhance it,” MacCombie said.
- The supplier said sequels can help operators start with a title players already recognise. That can support faster adoption and a longer product lifecycle than a completely new IP. For Games Global, the Gold Blitz franchise shows how small, planned changes can extend the value of an established slot brand.
