OLG has selected a new technology partner to modernize its lottery operations – see more details:

• OLG selected Intralot Canada Ltd., the Canadian subsidiary of the Bally’s Intralot Group, as its new lottery technology solution provider. The agreement follows a competitive procurement process. Intralot plans to expand its workforce to support implementation and long-term operations in Sault Ste. Marie and Toronto.
• The new platform will replace OLG’s existing core lottery systems with updated technology. It is designed to improve flexibility, shorten time-to-market for new products and support future innovation. The OLG lottery technology upgrade is also intended to enhance the player experience as customer expectations continue to evolve.
• OLG said the investment will support long-term growth while modernizing legacy systems. President and CEO Duncan Hannay said: “We’re excited to work together to bring customers even more engaging lottery experiences, with offerings designed to better meet their needs and add more enjoyment to every play.” He added that the investment will strengthen OLG’s ability to return value to Ontario communities.
• Bally’s Intralot Group said the agreement reflects its experience in delivering lottery platforms worldwide. CEO Robeson Reeves said the company’s technology is built to meet the scale, security and operational requirements of modern lotteries. He added that the company aims to provide OLG with the tools and data intelligence needed for future development.
• The OLG lottery technology solution is scheduled to be fully operational by 2029. The project marks the next stage of OLG’s long-term technology modernization strategy.
