Robinhood reported record Q2 2026 results, with Robinhood prediction markets emerging as one of its fastest-growing businesses. Event contracts became a meaningful revenue contributor alongside options, equities and crypto trading. The company also posted record revenue and customer growth.

  • Total revenue increased 32% year-on-year to a record USD 1.31 billion (ca. EUR 1.14 billion). Transaction-based revenue reached USD 776 million (ca. EUR 673 million), while net interest revenue contributed USD 389 million (ca. EUR 337 million) and other revenue USD 143 million (ca. EUR 124 million).  Net income rose 48% to USD 573 million (ca. EUR 497 million). 
  • Robinhood prediction markets generated USD 156 million (ca. EUR 135 million) in revenue, more than ten times higher than a year earlier. That was about 20% of transaction-based revenue and 12% of total company revenue. Event contracts produced more revenue than equities (USD 129 million or EUR 112 million) and cryptocurrencies (USD 100 million or EUR 87 million), but remained behind options at USD 342 million (ca EUR 296 milllion).
  • Trading activity reflected the same trend. Event contracts traded increased more than tenfold to a record 13.6 billion during the quarter (each contract ca be traded at USD 0.01 increments).  Robinhood also launched Rothera, its CFTC-licensed prediction markets exchange and clearinghouse.
  • Robinhood continued expanding its platform beyond trading. Platform assets increased to USD 369 billion (ca. EUR 320 billion), funded customers reached 28.4 million and Gold subscribers grew to a record 4.8 million. CEO Vlad Tenev said: “Our product velocity is focused on one goal: making everyone an owner.”
